What is best in music is not found in the notes.
Gustav Mahler

Gorgeous, really. The way the colouring and line art is done is seriously just fantastic.

I love how his toes curl upwards- kind of like he's flexing them but also a little like a corpse. In general there's something corpse-like about the picture- the fact that he's nailed to a tree a la Jesus for one thing, plus tree growing through him (tree of life maybe- or is it the tree of knowledge?).
His expression is great- so sly and knowing. The harpy-like crows are wonderful too, and remind me of Norse mythology (maybe they're whispering wisdoms, or jokes in his ears and that's why he's so smug looking).
The straw, too, is interesting- how it looks like hair....
Your art is too interesting for words!

Remember friend as you pass by
As you are now so once was I
As I am now you soon shall be
So prepare for death and follow me.

This is really wonderful, I think that my favorite part was when I scrolled down to his knees and saw the branches were poking through him as part of him. I like the touches of color, I think the lack of color overall really emphasizes the stark nature of a scarecrow. Excellent job...
